I'm Julie, and I believe healing is rarely a straight line. “Wander with purpose” is at the heart of how I approach therapy.
Your path is your own, and my role is to help guide you as you explore what’s beneath the surface, reconnect with who you are, and find what feels right for you.

People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons. Sometimes it's anxiety, burnout, or a difficult transition. Other times, it's a feeling that something isn't quite right, even if you can't fully explain why.
At Roam Well, therapy is collaborative, grounded, and shaped around you. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), which offers a way to explore the different parts of yourself with greater curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
My background in athletic training and sports medicine also shapes how I approach mental health. I understand that our experiences don't happen in isolation from our bodies, relationships, or environments. When it feels helpful, we can incorporate somatic and nature-based practices alongside conversation and reflection.
Whether you're navigating stress, identity, relationships, injury, or a season of change, we'll work together to find an approach that respects your experiences and helps you move toward what matters to you.

I believe every person carries strengths, wisdom, and resilience, even when those things feel difficult to access. Stress, past experiences, and challenging seasons can make it harder to feel connected to yourself and find your footing.
My role isn't to give you all the answers or tell you who you should be. It's to create a supportive space where we can get curious about what's happening beneath the surface, understand patterns that may no longer serve you, and explore what feels right for you.
Therapy isn't about fixing who you are. It's about building a better understanding of yourself, reconnecting with your strengths, and finding ways forward that feel meaningful to you.
